Container Campaign for Health Education Center in Nicaragua

With its new health education center and clinic almost completed in Managua, Nicaragua, WWD-F has embarked on a campaign to collect new and used items to help the project begin as soon a possible. Materials such as medical equipment, office supplies, gardening tools, and furniture, will allow WWD-F to set up the clinic, initiate a community-wide health education program, and establish the family gardening program.

WWD-F is requesting assistance from the public in collecting these materials during the month of March. Cash donations are also welcomed and will be used to purchase items that may be lacking. A generous donor has already offered to cover the costs of sending a container of goods down to Nicaragua. A list of needed items can be found here or from its Asheville office (828 255-8777).
