In 1992, the Future Vision Ecological Park was founded with the purpose of creating a progressive model for integrated and sustainable development. Today, the project, located about 40 minutes outside of Sao Paulo, Brazil, has blossomed into an array of environmental, educational, and economic projects and programs that have transformed the rural communities which surround it.

Future Vision now includes the following projects:

•  Pre-school program for children in the rural area

•  Art programs in the slums to promote consciousness in youth

•  Sewing cooperative to provide women with employment

•  Cultivation and commercialization of medicinal plants

•  Use of diverse alternative energy sources

•  Rainwater recycling project

•  Human development courses and workshops for adults and children

•  Organic farming

•  Organic bakery
